What makes a good portable keg
Most portable drinks dispensers are a plastic tap and a plastic cap bolted to a thin bottle. They warm up in an hour and the pour goes flat. Tipzey is built the other way around: a stainless steel body that holds 2L of chilled drink ice cold for 12 hours, and a stainless steel tap and regulator that keep the carbonation exactly where you set it. Everything but the handle is stainless steel.
A single 16g CO2 cartridge pressurises a full keg, which is roughly 10 cocktails or 6 pints. Because the pressure is adjustable, the same keg handles a soft-pouring cold brew and a properly lively seltzer. When the cartridge runs out you swap in a fresh one from a CO2 refill pack and keep going.
